This training was a collaborative effort between Training, EMS and Special Operations. Crews were briefed with the objectives, philosophies and expectations when responding to these types of incidents. 2 scenarios were conducted with the 1st being more localized and the 2nd being slightly more complex with more victims in multiple locations. Crews then followed up with EMS skills stations focusing on hemorrhage control, airway and management of traumatic injuries.

Units responded to a report of a confirmed residential structure fire. Enroute Metcom advised ofmultiple reports of a large volume of fire. U/A BC34 sized up a small 2-story single familystructure with a fully involved garage fire that had extended into the residence. No exposures threatened and no wind effect on the fire. BC34 established Colinade Command and obtainedOps #3 positioning on the alpha side of the structure. An offensive strategy was aired withTwr34/M34 performing a transitional attack on the alpha side.
